BHSS Potushahi Student Masrat Nabi Shines in District Level Athletics Competition

Srinagar: Masrat Nabi, a student of Government Boys Higher Secondary School Potushahi, has performed exceptionally well in District Level Athletics Competition to bring laurels to her school and native village alike.

“It is with utmost pleasure to announce that one of the promising students of HSS Potushai namely Masrat Nabi (11th Commerce stream) has brought laurels and accolades to the institution after having emerged victorious in the District level Athletics Competition which was scheduled at Natnusa,” a communique by the educational institution, issued to Alfaaz – The Words reads.

“The event was organised by the Department of Youth services and sports. It is worthwhile to mention that she has achieved significant achievements in two feats – Shortput and 400 meter race.”

The student, the communique reads, had previously won zonal level competition in both the feats and is now competing at inter- district level scheduled at Anantnag shortly.

“The HOI Nisara Bano is pleased to express her heartfelt wishes to the girl who has added a feather to the cap of the institution and to the whole family of the institution,” reads the communique, adding, “We hope that rest of the students who are being continuously supervised, monitored and mentored shall mark their victory and achieve more landmarks in the times to come.”

“The credit for the achievement goes to the two officials working in the institution namely Gulzar Ahmad Mir ReK and M Iqbal Lone NYC. We shall strive to be the trend setters and the efforts of all the stakeholders of the institution shall bring more winsome and cheerful moments. The administrative knack of the worthy HOI has made this all happen and since she assumed office in the institution, there has been a considerable improvement and refinement in the functioning of the institution as well as the performance of students,” the communique further reads.
