Bailed Out MP Er. Rashid’s Family Sees Fairness in NIA Court’s Decision

Srinagar: Delhi’s Special NIA Court has granted interim bail to parliamentarian Rashid Engineer in connection with an alleged militant funding case.

The bail, effective until October 2, 2024, allows Engineer to campaign for the upcoming assembly elections.

AIP’s contesting candidate on Langate seat, and Er. Rashid’s brother, Khursheed Ahmad thanked the judiciary, noting that the court’s decision underscores its impartiality, treating leaders from Kashmir and Delhi equally.

“The court’s decision reflects fairness and impartiality, akin to the approach towards leaders like Arvind Kejriwal. The court has shown that there is no distinction between mainstream leaders from Kashmir and Delhi”, said Khursheed, as per news agency KNS.
