Handwara: Ashutosh Army Goodwill School Budkoot on Saturday marked its twentieth annual day, with great zeal and fervour.
The annual Day function was a cultural extravaganza which included Bhangra dance, folk dance, Indian classical dance, group dance and rap songs. Students displayed their talent and mesmerized the audience with their thrilling performances.
Over 400 people, including prominent personalities of the area, attended the mega function.
On the occasion Mr Piyush the elder brother of Martyred Colonel Ashutosh Sharma attended as chief guest.
During address he remembered the sacrifice of Colonel Ashutosh Sharma towards the country. He impressed upon students to work diligently and passion towards nation.
The function culminated with a prize distribution ceremony wherein the students were rewarded in different categories with certificates and prizes. The teachers and students of the school were also complemented for the exemplary conduct of the event.
