Apex Court To Hear Review Petition on Revocation of Article 370 from May 1

Srinagar: Supreme Court will hear review petition challenging revocation of Article 370 – giving special status to Jammu and Kashmir – from May 1, 2024. 

News agency IANS in a post on ‘X’ wrote, “Supreme Court to hear review petition on the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir starting May 1.”

A 5-judge constitution Bench of the Supreme Court on December 11, 2023, had unanimously upheld the power of the President to abrogate Article 370 of the Constitution, which in August 2019 led to the reorganisation of the State of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) into two Union Territories.
