Annual Road Race “Run for Fun” Held Under Banner of Drug-free Batpora in Kupwara

Kupwara: Little Star School of Learning Batpora Kupwara on Thursday organized an annual road race “Run for Fun” under the banner of drug free Batpora.

The race was flagged-off by Mir Fayaz and Javeed Ahmad Principal of Little Star School of Learning Batpora in the presence of the staff members of the school.

Mir Fayaz along with Manzoor Ahmad Beigh was the chief guest of the occasion while the Reyaz Ahmad Kalgan Vice President Teachers Association Kupwara was guest of honor.

Among others the dignitaries Mir Mubashir, Abdul Ahad Sheikh, Amjid Ahmad graced the occasion.

In this event approximately 30 students actively participated and were followed by an Award Distribution Ceremony held in which an august gathering of dignitaries gave away the trophes,medals and certificates to the students.

The function concluded with a vote of thanks to the guests and a word of appreciation and encouragement to the students by the Principal of the school Javeed Ahmad.

He was all praise for the contribution made by the Physical Education Department of the Institution by promoting non-cognitive skills for the all-round development of the students.
