Srinagar: In a first-of-its-kind global initiative, Bharti Airtel has announced a partnership with Adobe to provide free access to Adobe Express Premium to its entire customer base of 360 million users across India.
Under the landmark collaboration, all Airtel customersโincluding mobile, broadband (Wi-Fi) and DTH usersโwill receive a complimentary one-year subscription to Adobe Express Premium, a creative application designed for quick and easy creation of digital content. The subscription, valued at approximately โน4,000 annually, will be available via the Airtel Thanks App without any credit card requirement.
The initiative aims to democratise access to professional-grade creative tools, enabling users to design high-quality social media assets, marketing materials, short videos and other digital content, regardless of prior design experience.
Commenting on the partnership, Siddharth Sharma, CEO โ Connected Homes and Director โ Marketing, Bharti Airtel, said the collaboration goes beyond technology. โThis partnership is about empowering millions of Indians with cutting-edge AI tools to create and innovate. From students crafting resumes to small businesses designing promotional material and creators editing videos, we want to enable every Airtel customer to express themselves with ease,โ he said.
Echoing the sentiment, David Wadhwani, President, Digital Media at Adobe, said the partnership would help accelerate Indiaโs growing creator economy. โWe are excited to bring Adobe Express Premium to millions across India for free, enabling people to produce standout content to advance their careers, grow businesses and pursue their passions,โ he said.
Adobe Express Premium offers access to thousands of professional design templates, including those tailored for Indian festivals, weddings and local businesses. The platform also features AI-powered tools such as background removal, image generation, one-tap video editing, auto captions and instant resize, along with premium Adobe Stock assets, over 30,000 fonts, 100GB of cloud storage and watermark-free exports with seamless cross-device sync.
The application is available in English, Hindi, Tamil and Bengali, allowing users to create content in their preferred languageโranging from festival greetings and wedding invitations to promotional material for local businesses and social media updates.
According to the companies, the partnership is expected to benefit a wide spectrum of users, including creators and influencers, students, consumers, small businesses, entrepreneurs and marketers, by enabling faster content creation and higher-quality digital output through generative AI tools.
