AIP Delegations Visit Shelling-affected Areas Along Line of Control in B’la, Kupwara

Uri/Kupwara: To express solidarity and support, a delegation from the Awami Itehad Party (AIP), led by Senior AIP Leader and MLA Langate Sheikh Khursheed, visited the LoC villages affected by recent shelling.

Accompanied by DDC Tujjar Muzaffar Ahmad Dar and MP Office Incharge Baramulla Ajaz Lone, the delegation visited Salamabad, Gingle, Paranpillan, Lagama, Bandi, Uri, and multiple rehabilitation centers where affected residents have taken shelter.

Expressing deep concern over the hardships faced by the local population, MLA Langate Sheikh Khursheed emphasized the need for immediate relief measures, including proper rehabilitation and healthcare for the affected families.

The delegation interacted with the residents, listened to their grievances and assured them of AIP’s unwavering support in these testing times.

Meanwhile, Senior AIP Leader and Party Spokesperson Peerzada Firdouse Ahmad Baba also visited shelling-hit areas in district Kupwara, engaging with the affected families and assessing the extent of the damage.

Peerzada Firdouse Ahmad Baba stressed the importance of ensuring the safety and well-being of civilians in border areas, urging the administration to expedite relief measures.
