AIP Delegation Visits Rafiabad, Interact with Locals; Developmental Scenario Reviewed

Rafiabad (Baramulla): A delegation of the Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) led by senior leader Showkat Hussain Pandit, along with DDC Member Tujar Muzaffar and other party leaders, conducted an extensive tour of Kutru Naribal and Dariyan areas of Rafiabad on Sunday where they interacted with the locals.

During the visit, the delegation interacted with local residents and community representatives, who raised various concerns related to infrastructure, healthcare, education, and road connectivity. The locals highlighted the pressing need for immediate government attention towards basic amenities and long-pending development projects.

The AIP leaders assured the people that the party remains committed to addressing grassroots issues and will continue to raise their concerns at all appropriate forums.

The delegation also assessed the tourism potential of the region, noting its scenic beauty and cultural richness. They emphasized the need to promote Rafiabad Daryaan as an emerging tourist destination by improving accessibility and creating sustainable infrastructure to generate employment and economic growth in the area.

The visit was part of AIP’s ongoing outreach initiative aimed at strengthening community engagement and ensuring that neglected regions receive their due share in the development process.
