Kupwara: The Assistant Regional Transport Office (ARTO) Kupwara on Wednesday conducted an enforcement drive, resulting in blacklisting of as many as thirty vehicles.
ARTO Kupwara said that an e-challan of ₹22,000 was collected on the spot, and documents were seized during the drive.
The officer said that the drive aimed to improve road safety and enforce traffic regulations.
“Our focus during these drives remains on key compliance areas such as speed limiting devices, stunt biking, overloading, emission violations, vehicle fitness violations, and documentation-related violations,” Assistant Regional Transport Officer Kupwara said, as per news agency KNT.
