Agriculture Zone Sogam Bids Farewell to JAEO Abdul Qayoom Shah

Kupwara: Agriculture Department Zone Sogam organised a farewell programme on Saturday in honour of JAEO Abdul Qayoom Shah, acknowledging his years of service to the department.

The programme was attended by officers and staff of the Agriculture Department, including SDAO Agriculture Sogam Javid Ahmad, AEO Sogam Hafizullah Wani, AEO Shahnawaz Ahmad Dar, along with other officials.

Speakers at the event appreciated Shah’s professionalism, discipline, and commitment to agricultural extension work. They said his efforts in supporting farmers at the grassroots level had strengthened field-level services and departmental outreach.

The officers wished him good health and a fulfilling life ahead, noting that his dedication and cooperative approach would be remembered.

In his address, Abdul Qayoom Shah thanked his colleagues for organising the farewell and expressed gratitude for the respect shown to him. He said his association with Agriculture Zone Sogam would remain a lasting and proud memory.
