ADC Kupwara Visits Sub-District Hospital Sogam, Takes Stock of Healthcare Facilities

Kupwara: Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Mohammad Rouf Rahman
on friday visited Sub-District Hospital Sogam in a bid to take stock of healthcare facilities being provided to the patients in the hospital.

He inspected wards and OPD, and interacted with various patients and attendants and enquired about patient care and facilities being provided to the general public.

Stressing on providing better health facilities to patients, he instructed concerned health authorities to ensure robust functioning of all facilities in all sections.

During his day-long visit, the visiting officer also visited NTPHC Lalpora, Diver, Darpora, Gundmancher & Anderbugh where the inhabitants demanded extra power supply during Sehri, Iftaar & Prayer times. The inhabitants also urged the officer to felicitate the people with drinking water facilities.

The visiting officer met several delegations & interacted with them who had come from Sogam, Lalpora, Chandigam, Diver, Khumriyal and it’s adjoining areas- who on the occasion apprised the officer of various grievances pertaining to their areas.
