3 Local Militants Killed in Tral Encounter

Srinagar: Three militants affiliated with Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) outfit were killed on Thursday in a gunfight with the security forces in Nader village of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

The slain trio has been identified as Asif Ahmed Sheikh, Amir Nazir Wani and Yawar Ahmad Bhat, all residents Pulwama district.

Notably, three militants, associated with LeT, were killed, two days before, in an encounter with security forces in the Keller area of Shopian district.
