Kupwara: At least three passengers were killed after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in Karnah area in Kupwara district this morning.
As per details available with Alfaaz – The Words, a Swift car near ‘Sikh Bridge’, resulting in on spot death of three persons.
Among the deceased include, driver of the vehicle Mushtaq Ahmad (50), son of Ghulam Nabi Khan of Seer Hamdan Anantnag, Nazir Ahmad Magray (55), son of Mohammad Sultan Magray, a resident of Anantnag and Feroz Ahmad Pala (45), son of Abdul Salam Pala, resident of Seer Hamdan Anantnag.
All the bodies have been evacuated from the site and kept at a local hospital.
The Police, as learnt, have taken cognisance of the incident for further investigations.
