2 ‘Pilgrims’ Killed, 4 Injured in Landslide, Shooting Stone Incidents in Reasi

Jammu: At least two persons, believed to be pilgrims, were killed even as four others sustained injuries in simultaneous landslide and shooting stones incident in Reasi on Monday.

“Two people were feared to be dead and four others injured in this incident. All the injured people have been shifted to the hospital for treatment,” officials said.

News agency GNS quoted officials as saying that shooting stones and landslide occurred this afternoon on the track of Vaishno Devi.

Meanwhile, police and Disaster management team of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has reached the spot.
