16 Students Embark on Hyderabad Visit Under Bharat Darshan Tour, Courtesy 127 Bn BSF

Kupwara: 127 Battalion Border Security Forces under Sector Headquarter BSF Kupwara, Kashmir Frontier sent sixteen students alongwith two teachers on Bharat Darshan Tour to Hyderabad. The students including eight girls and eight boys total from Govt Higher Secondary School Ring Payeen, Machil.

The students are participating in the Bharat Darshan Tour for the first time. The tour was flagged off by Brig(Retd) M D Upadhyay, DIG SHQ BSF Kupwara in presence of Sh Iqbal Hassan Khan, Comdt (Adm) of SHQ BSF Kupwara, Sh Babu Lal Yadav, 2IC/Offg Comdt of 127 Bn BSF.

During this event all Officers of SHQ BSF Kupwara & 127 Bn BSF, troops of BSF and students were also present.

In this tour, the students will visit Nizam Museum, Salar Jung Museum, Chowmahal Palace, Charminar, Ramoji Film City, BM Birla Science Museum, BM Birla Mandir, SCL IT Tech, Mahindra & Mahindra Plant and Museum, Zaheerabad, Hi-Tech City, Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited, Miyapur and other important places in Hyderabad.

The objective of Bharat Darshan Tour is to provide exposure of diversity of culture, heritage and opportunities to the youths and children of far fur-lunged and remote border villages.

These tours are expected to help in motivating the students to develop a broader perspective, to improve their understanding and knowledge through observation and make them aware about the academic and professional opportunities available in other parts of the country. This tour will provide a unique exposure to realise the multilingual diversity of our beloved country.
