Jammu: A record 15 cricketers from Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association have been selected for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auction.
Notable selections include J&K senior team’s star batter Shubham Khajuria, promising top-order batsman Musaif Ajaz, and the talented left-arm seamer Mujtaba Yousuf. Other players in the auction list include Abdul Samad, Atif Bin Mushtaq, Avinash Singh, Nasir Lone, Vivrant Sharma, Abid Mushtaq, Kunal Chib, Umran Malik, Murgan Ashwin, Yudhveer Singh Charak, Rasikh Salam and Aquib Nabi.
This marks the highest-ever representation of J&K cricketers in an IPL auction.
The auction is scheduled for November 24-25, 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
