12 Girl Students Hospitalised After Few Colleagues ‘Mischievously Spray Pepper’ During School Event in Handwara: Report

Handwara: At least 12 students fell unconscious during an event at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Handwara on Thursday, reported local news agency KNS.

Quoting officials, the agency reported that the school had organised a self-defence event for girl students during which one of the students sprayed pepper spray, following which 12 students fell unconscious.

The students, as per the report, were immediately shifted to SDH Handwara for treatment.

“Some girls had managed to get pepper spray from somewhere and they mischievously sprayed it during the event,” said the official, as per the report.
