10 security personnel injured after vehicle falls into gorge in central Kashmir

Budgam: At least ten security personnel, eight from Central Reserve Police Force and two from Jammu and Kashmir Police, sustained injuries after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident in the Tangnar area of Doodhpathri in Khansahib on Tuesday.

News agency JKNS quoted a police offical as saying that a vehicle, travelling towards Doodhpathri skidded off the road and rolled down into a deep gorge.

He said, rescue operation was launched soon after the incident, and about ten injured personnel were shifted to a nearby medical facility.

Further details regarding the condition of the injured and the cause of the accident are awaited.
