Srinagar: Just hours into a fatal accident in Handwara, another tragic road accident has occurred along Machil-Kalaroos road in Kupwara.
Reports reaching Alfaaz – The Words, said that an Alto Car bearing registration number JK09C 1467, met with an accident on Machil-Kalaroos road in Sarkuli, resulting in on spot death of a person.
The deceased has been identified as Javid Ahmad Harray of Machil.
The fateful vehicle met with a severe accident eight kilometres ahead of Cement Bridge on Machil-Kalaroos road, plunging into a deep gorge.
Notably, a fatal road accident earlier in the day at Vodhpora left at least two girl students dead and injuries to over a dozen others. (with additional information from Altaf Bhadana)
